Zangge Mining Continues to Deepen Volunteer Service Through Concrete Action

       To further consolidate the outcomes of learning and education on establishing and practicing a sound view of performance, promote the regular and long-term implementation of Party member volunteer service, and strictly implement the Group Party Committee’s working mechanism of “one Party branch undertaking one volunteer service activity,” the No. 2 Lake Area Party Branch, under the overall coordination of Zangge Mining’s Party Committee, organized Party member volunteers to visit the Golmud Special Education School on the morning of June 18. The volunteers carried out a Dragon Boat Festival-themed volunteer service activity titled “Welcoming the Dragon Boat Festival with the Fragrance of Zongzi Leaves and Bringing Warm Companionship to Children,” conveying the Company’s care through traditional folk practices and fulfilling social responsibility through targeted services.

       At the event, Party member volunteers carefully prepared materials such as zongzi leaves, glutinous rice, and sachet-making supplies for the children. As the branch members usually work on the frontline of production operations and maintenance, they had relatively limited exposure to traditional handicrafts. At first, they appeared somewhat unfamiliar with tasks such as wrapping zongzi and sewing sachets. Nevertheless, all participants approached the activity with a serious attitude, studied each step carefully, and paid close attention to every folding technique and stitch. To ensure the smooth progress of the event, the Company’s Party Committee Office promptly coordinated female Party member representatives from the Mining Party Branch to provide on-site support. They demonstrated zongzi-wrapping techniques and key steps for sachet sewing by hand. Party members from the two branches worked together, learned from one another, and created a warm and lively atmosphere.

       With patient companionship and guidance from the volunteers, the children actively took part in the activity. Zongzi leaves were folded and wrapped, colorful threads were stitched back and forth, and plump zongzi and uniquely shaped blessing sachets gradually took form. In these small handmade works were carried festive blessings and sincere warmth.
