Zangge Potash Successfully Concludes the Second Training Program on Comprehensive Capacity Building for Frontline Team Leaders

From April 20 to 22, the Human Resources Department of Zangge Potash organized the second session of the Company’s first Training Program on Comprehensive Capacity Building for Frontline Team Leaders. The program was delivered by Mr. Xu Weimin, a senior corporate management trainer. Closely aligned with findings from the earlier field research conducted in the lake area, the course content complemented the first session in terms of training modules and systematically supported the enhancement of the overall capabilities of the frontline team leader workforce.

During the program, Mr. Xu Weimin used a combination of case-based instruction and interactive questioning to guide participants in deepening their understanding of their roles and completing the transition from technical specialists to frontline managers. Centered on the principle that “to manage others well, one must first manage oneself well,” the course provided an in-depth explanation of the path of mindset development and focused on cultivating a broader sense of responsibility characterized by clear thinking and accurate communication, helping participants move from an individual-task orientation to a stronger collective and team-oriented mindset.

Safety management was a key module of this session. Mr. Xu systematically introduced the Bai Guozhou Safety Production Management Method, providing a detailed explanation of core principles such as the “Four Understandings, Four Abilities and Five Awarenesss,” the “Four No-Let-Go Principles,” and the “Four No-Harm Principles,” while reinforcing implementation requirements related to the “Three Improvements,” the “Three Areas of Full Compliance,” and the “Four Essentials That Must Not Be Omitted.” Participants were also organized to identify potential risk points based on their actual job responsibilities, systematically compile hazard source lists through group discussions, and conduct a collective review together. This closed-loop design effectively promoted the translation of safety theory into practical application and substantially strengthened the ability of frontline teams to identify, prevent, and eliminate risks.

In terms of talent pipeline development, the program focused on cultivating second-line successors and building a skills multiplication system. Centered on three core pathways—identifying high-potential talent, establishing mentoring mechanisms, and strengthening team motivation and conflict management—it introduced three practical tools: the skills matrix, One-Point Lesson (OPL) micro-learning, and the win-win narrative method. These approaches provided frontline team leaders with systematic guidance on team building and talent development, with the aim of strengthening the talent foundation of frontline teams and building benchmark teams characterized by higher standards, stronger capabilities, and better performance.

The program also emphasized participant engagement. Through activities such as quick-response exercises and group assignments, it fully mobilized learning enthusiasm and created an active learning atmosphere on site. During breaks, participants spontaneously showcased a variety of Qinghai cultural performances, reflecting the Company’s distinctive corporate culture shaped by the integration of diverse ethnic traditions.

At the closing ceremony, Chen Jianguo, Assistant to the General Manager of Zangge Potash, attended the event and presented certificates of completion to the 48 participants in this session, as well as certificates of recognition to five outstanding participants. He fully acknowledged the practical and results-oriented focus of the program and encouraged all participants to apply what they had learned in their day-to-day work, contributing frontline management insight to the Group’s high-quality development.
