Zangge Laos Company Holds Specialized Training on Business Ethics and Integrity in Professional Conduct
To continue strengthening integrity safeguards for overseas operations and further standardize employees’ professional conduct, on May 18, Sun Quan, General Manager of the Supervision and Audit Office of Zangge Mining, and Wang Zhiwen, Deputy General Manager, organized a specialized training session on Business Ethics and Integrity in Professional Conduct, together with a briefing on the centralized registration of close associates, at Zangge Laos Company. A total of 30 participants attended the training, including all members of management and employees in key functions such as infrastructure construction, logistics, finance and human resources.
Focusing closely on key integrity management requirements for overseas operations, the training was structured around the objectives of strengthening ethical awareness, maintaining discipline and compliance boundaries, and upholding integrity in professional conduct. The meeting noted that overseas projects are an important part of the Company’s development and operate in a complex external environment. Integrity in professional conduct is not only a fundamental requirement, but also an essential safeguard for the stable and sustainable development of overseas operations. All employees were required to maintain strong awareness of integrity and self-discipline, uphold professional ethics, and strictly avoid any conduct that violates rules, disciplines or compliance requirements.

The specialized training on Business Ethics and Integrity in Professional Conduct covered four key modules: integrity-related compliance boundaries, reporting and recusal requirements for close associates, whistleblowing channels, and accountability mechanisms. In line with the Company’s internal policies and drawing on typical industry cases, the training focused on strictly prohibited conduct such as abuse of authority for personal gain, improper transfer of benefits, falsification, and non-compliant performance of duties. It also clarified behavioral boundaries in external engagement, including the acceptance of money or gifts, improper banquets or entertainment, and the use of authority for personal benefit.
During the briefing on the centralized registration of close associates, the scope of close associates was clearly defined, including the employee, spouse, parents, siblings, children and their spouses. The session also explained key requirements such as reporting, proactive recusal throughout the entire process, and avoidance of incompatible positions. Questions and misunderstandings regarding the registration of close associates were addressed one by one, helping employees remove concerns, make truthful and proactive declarations, and prevent conflicts of interest at the source.
During the training, participants exchanged views based on their respective roles and deepened their understanding of the importance of preventing and controlling integrity-related risks. All participants also signed the Business Ethics Commitment Letter on site. The commitment letter requires employees to strictly comply with laws, regulations and the Company’s integrity-related rules, uphold the principle of honesty and trustworthiness, resist commercial bribery, standardize business conduct, observe confidentiality requirements, proactively declare close associates, and recuse themselves from conflicts of interest. Employees who violate the commitment shall be subject to Company accountability measures and, where applicable, legal proceedings.
This specialized training and briefing further strengthened the integrity awareness of all employees of Zangge Laos Company, clarified the institutional requirements for managing close associates, corrected misunderstandings, and effectively standardized the conduct of employees in key positions. Participants stated that they would internalize integrity requirements and translate them into action, remain self-disciplined and vigilant, strictly observe rules and requirements, uphold professional boundaries, and consciously guard against integrity-related risks.
Zangge Laos Company will continue to integrate integrity governance into the full project process, carry out integrity education on a regular basis, strictly implement the registration and reporting of close associates, and further improve its risk prevention and control mechanisms. These efforts will help foster a clean and transparent working environment, support the steady advancement of the project, and contribute the strength of overseas operations to the Group’s high-quality development.
