Zangge Mining’s Production and Operations Dispatch Center and New Plant Entrance Officially Inaugurated

       On the morning of August 10, the unveiling and ribbon-cutting ceremonies for Zangge Mining’s Production and Operations Dispatch Center and new plant entrance were held simultaneously in Golmud. Wu Jianhui, Chairman of Zangge Mining; Cao Sanxing, Secretary of the Company’s Party Committee; and other Company leaders jointly unveiled and inaugurated the Dispatch Center and the new plant entrance. Employees from Zangge Mining’s headquarters and its subsidiaries in Golmud attended the ceremony.

       Chairman Wu Jianhui noted in his remarks that since Zijin Mining became the Company’s strategic controlling shareholder, Zangge Mining has thoroughly implemented the overall work approach of “improving quality, increasing output, controlling costs, and enhancing efficiency,” while continuously advancing management upgrades, technological innovation, and digital and intelligent transformation. The commissioning of the Production and Operations Dispatch Center and the new plant entrance represents a key step in the Company’s development of digital and intelligent mining operations and improvement of its standardized management and control system. It is also an important initiative to leverage synergies with Zijin Mining to accelerate the enhancement of the Company’s own management capabilities.

       Regarding the next stage of work, Chairman Wu put forward four requirements. First, the Company should firmly uphold the bottom line of safety by establishing a dispatch management and tiered emergency response system covering the potash fertilizer and lithium production areas, and achieving closed-loop management throughout the entire processes of production dispatch and hazard investigation and rectification. Second, it should further unlock the value of digitalization by leveraging real-time data to precisely manage production capacity, energy consumption, and material consumption, using digital tools to reduce operating costs and improve production efficiency. Third, it should coordinate resources across all production areas by centrally managing production plans and workforce deployment, removing barriers to cross-departmental collaboration, and ensuring stable and increased production throughout the entire operational chain. Fourth, it should strengthen operation and maintenance by regularly collecting feedback from frontline employees and continuously improving supporting software and hardware to ensure the long-term, stable operation of the Dispatch Center.

       Following the unveiling ceremony, Chairman Wu Jianhui and other Company leaders toured the exhibition hall of the Production and Operations Dispatch Center. The exhibition hall presents Zijin Mining’s global mining footprint and development achievements, while systematically reviewing Zangge Mining’s development journey rooted in Qarhan Salt Lake, its continued focus on the potash and lithium businesses, and its corporate honors.

       At the dispatch center’s large display screen, Zhu Hongwei, General Manager of Zangge Lithium, demonstrated the digital management and control platform covering the entire lithium production process. The platform enables real-time, second-level updates of material and water balance data and provides comprehensive visualization of the fully automated production process from brine to lithium carbonate. Chairman Wu recognized the effectiveness of the digital system. He noted that remote automation represents a major trend in industrial development. Given the presence of hazardous acidic substances at production sites, production safety responsibilities must be strictly implemented, and a dual-control system combining automated and manual operations should be established. Real-time data connectivity across production areas should also be ensured to further strengthen production safety safeguards.
