Zangge Mining Carries Out a Series of Activities for Ethnic Unity and Progress Awareness Month

September is Ethnic Unity and Progress Awareness Month in Qinghai Province. To thoroughly implement the relevant requirements of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee, foster a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation, and further advance initiatives to promote ethnic unity and progress, the Company carefully planned and coordinated a series of themed activities. These included online learning, offline awareness campaigns, joint Party-building activities, volunteer services, and cultural and sports competitions. Through these initiatives, the Company sought to foster an atmosphere of close ties and mutual support among all ethnic groups, demonstrating its commitment to corporate social responsibility through concrete action.

01 Promoting Learning Through Online Competitions and Strengthening Awareness of Ethnic Unity

The Company organized employees and management personnel to actively participate in an online quiz on ethnic unity and progress hosted by the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee. Employees were widely encouraged to study ethnic policies, relevant laws and regulations, and knowledge related to ethnic unity.

Participants demonstrated strong enthusiasm and engagement, fostering a positive atmosphere of mutual learning and continuous improvement. Two employees distinguished themselves through their solid knowledge and received commendations.

The activity helped deepen employees’ understanding of ethnic unity and further strengthened their awareness of ethnic unity and knowledge of relevant policies and principles.

02 Conducting Public Awareness Activities at Designated Locations to Encourage Broad Participation

As part of the citywide awareness campaign on ethnic unity and progress, the Company’s Party and Mass Culture Department set up a public information station at the Olympic Sports Plaza in Golmud. Through the display of banners and informational materials, staff engaged directly with members of the public, explaining the importance of ethnic unity and progress and raising awareness of relevant ethnic policies.

Working alongside other organizations across the city, the Company contributed to fostering a positive social atmosphere in which everyone recognizes the importance of ethnic unity and actively participates in initiatives to promote it.

03 Strengthening Joint Party-Building Activities and Celebrating the Two Festivals Through Unity and Song

This year's Ethnic Unity and Progress Awareness Month coincided with the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays. Through the joint Party-building platform of Tiexi Community, the Company actively participated in a themed event celebrating ethnic unity and the two festivals, jointly organized by local organizations and enterprises.

The Company selected six Party members and active applicants for Party membership to participate in interactive activities. Together with representatives from other organizations and various ethnic groups in the community, they joined in the celebrations and sang the patriotic song “Blessings to the Motherland,” expressing their best wishes for the country through song and strengthening a shared sense of unity.

The event further promoted joint Party-building cooperation between the Company and the local community, fostered closer connections among people of different ethnic groups, and strengthened awareness of ethnic unity.

04 Providing Volunteer Assistance and Compassionate Support to Fulfill Corporate Social Responsibility

To further extend the reach of ethnic unity awareness activities and ensure the effective implementation of volunteer services, the Company’s Party and Mass Culture Department coordinated transportation arrangements and organized a volunteer team comprising Party members and active applicants for Party membership to support students and teachers from a special education school in attending a themed celebration in Changjiangyuan Village.

The event, entitled “United as One, Hand in Hand — Celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day,” was jointly organized by 18 schools across Golmud to promote ethnic unity and celebrate the two festivals.

Throughout the event, the volunteers provided dedicated assistance and compassionate support to participants with special needs. Through their public welfare efforts, they extended care and warmth, promoted the spirit of unity, and demonstrated Zangge Mining’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and community well-being.

05 Strengthening Unity Through Cultural and Sports Competitions and Promoting Exchanges Among Ethnic Groups

The Company actively participated in provincial-level cultural and sports competitions promoting ethnic unity, selecting outstanding employees to compete in Qinghai Province’s “Investor Education in Action, Building Unity Through Badminton” Tournament.

The participants demonstrated determination and sportsmanship throughout the competition. Luo Liuya won First Prize, Li Jingya received Second Prize, and Zhang Lingfeng secured Third Prize. Their achievements reflected the positive, enterprising, and united spirit of Zangge Mining’s employees, while promoting interaction, exchange, and integration among different ethnic groups through cultural and sporting activities.

06 Strengthening Team Cohesion Through Employee Sports Activities and Fostering a Strong Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation

Drawing on the local characteristics of Golmud, Zangge Potash Fertilizer, a subsidiary of Zangge Mining, organized an employee sports event featuring three competitions: Chinese chess, three-legged races, and table tennis. The event attracted enthusiastic participation from more than 280 employees of various ethnic groups.

Throughout the competitions, participants demonstrated unity, enthusiasm, and good sportsmanship in an orderly and respectful atmosphere. Employees from different ethnic groups competed together, supported one another, and strengthened their relationships through sports, fostering greater team cohesion and a stronger sense of collective pride. The event also contributed to fostering a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.

Going forward, Zangge Mining will continue to advance initiatives promoting ethnic unity and progress, explore innovative communication channels, and diversify its activities. The Company will further strengthen cooperation with local communities, promote cultural and sports exchanges, and expand volunteer services to enhance cohesion and a shared sense of belonging among employees of all ethnic groups.
