Zangge Mining Deepens Its Commitment to Ongoing Volunteer Services for Children with Special Needs
To consolidate the outcomes of the educational campaign on “establishing and practicing a sound view of performance,” promote regular and sustained volunteer services that address the practical needs of the community, and implement the Company’s Party Committee requirement that each Party Branch undertake at least one volunteer service activity at a special education school annually, 14 volunteers from the Third Party Branch of Zangge Mining’s Salt Lake Operations visited the Golmud Special Education School on the afternoon of September 24, ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays.
The volunteers participated in the school’s themed campus celebration, “Bringing Warmth to Children Through Party Building and Celebrating the Two Festivals Together.” Through festive companionship and meaningful engagement, they extended care and support to children with special needs and demonstrated the Company’s commitment to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility through concrete action.

The volunteer service activities were carefully aligned with the school’s arrangements for the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day celebrations. Throughout the event, volunteers actively participated in campus activity stations, traditional folk customs experiences, handicraft workshops, and group singing performances.
During traditional games such as pitch-pot and lantern riddle guessing, the volunteers patiently explained the rules and introduced the children to Mid-Autumn Festival customs and knowledge about National Day, helping them appreciate the cultural significance of traditional festivals and the country’s heritage. During the DIY Mid-Autumn lantern-making activity, volunteers provided one-on-one assistance, guiding the children in creating their own lanterns and writing festive wishes. These interactions brought joy to the children and helped build their confidence.
Throughout the event, the volunteers assisted school staff in maintaining order, monitored the children’s well-being, and provided support to ensure a safe and orderly celebration. At the conclusion of the activities, the volunteers joined all teachers and students in holding small national flags and singing “Ode to the Motherland,” celebrating the National Day holiday and fostering a sense of patriotism through song.

This volunteer service activity represents a concrete example of the Company’s Party Committee’s ongoing commitment to supporting special education schools and addressing the practical needs of the community. In recent years, the Party Committee has continued to strengthen partnerships with special education schools, organizing Party Branches to provide volunteer services on a rotational basis. Through community engagement activities tailored to children’s needs and festive occasions, the Company has extended care and support to children with special needs.
These volunteer initiatives have further strengthened Party members’ and officials’ commitment to serving the community, demonstrated the dedication, initiative, and selfless contribution of Party Branch members, and continued to enhance Zangge Mining’s reputation for public welfare and volunteer service.
Going forward, the Company’s Party Committee will remain committed to serving the community and continue to implement the rotational volunteer service mechanism among its Party Branches. It will further diversify volunteer service activities and explore innovative approaches to community engagement, regularly organizing educational support, holiday companionship, cultural experiences, and other public welfare initiatives. By translating the outcomes of theoretical learning into practical actions that benefit the community, the Company aims to extend warmth and care through sustained volunteer efforts and demonstrate its sense of responsibility by supporting the healthy and happy development of children with special needs.
